Sycamore Brutalist Nesting Coffee Table

The client needed a large coffee table to replace a previously damaged one in their entertainment area. The interior designer wanted to maintain the general size and shape of the old table so that the new table would not impact the feeling or layout of the existing room. They also requested something that was very like in color. The client requested that the table be unique and that it could be able to be separated into smaller tables to make the space more flexible in its use. Using the same client sawn sycamore that was used in another project, Mr. Szczepanski created a brutalist meets reclaimed aesthetic that maximized the quatersawn figure of the sycamore.
